A Notice to Quit is used when officially notifying a tenant that they are in breach of a lease agreement. This notice sets out the specific breach, date of the notice and when the tenant must vacate the property. This notice usually serves as the official notice that a landlord gives to a tenant when the tenant is in violation of the provisions in their lease.
