Real Time Transcripts
Each courtroom is equipped with a Windows XP desktop PC with Bridge 2.0 Viewer installed and a serial cable connection. When providing real time transcript to court PCs, please be prepared to provide real time output to a serial connection using the Bridge protocol at a baud rate of 9600. A screen shot of our software is below:

Audio Output for Recorders
Most of our courtrooms provide an output from the PA system that can be used in making a recording of the proceedings to a personal recording device. You will need a cable to connect to the output jack to your recording device should you choose to use it. This connection uses a standard ΒΌ mono plug. Please keep in mind each courtroom has a unique set up. Therefore this feature is not available in every courtroom. If you wish to record the audio of the proceedings for future use, you should be prepared to record using other equipment if necessary.

Sidebar Head Phones
Each courtroom is equipped with a set of headphones connected to a powerful condenser microphone used by the judge and counsel during side bars. These are very high quality echo canceling head phones and are located near the court reporter seating to prevent the court reporter from having to move his/her equipment to hear the sidebar.
