for this school year!
Knowledge about our justice system is fundamental to good citizenship. As the third branch of government, the judiciary plays a vital role in our democracy. The Alaska Court System seeks to foster understanding of the role of courts in America's legal system. Judges and other court personnel welcome opportunities to meet with students and discuss the role of courts in fulfilling our country's promise of liberty, justice and equality under law. We hope you will consider including a judicial visit or other court-related activity in your curriculum this year, and look forward to hearing from you!
