AMENDED INTERIM RULE 1007AND NEW AND REVISED OFFICIAL BANKRUPTCY FORMS
On September 22, 2006, the Administrative Office of the United States Courts announced, at the direction of the Judicial Conference of the United States, the following changes concerning the bankruptcy rules and official forms. The effective date of the revised Official Forms is October 1, 2006. 1. Interim Bankruptcy Rule 1007 as amended requires debtors, among other things, to file Exhibit D (Individual Debtor's Statement of Compliance With Credit Counseling Requirement) to Official Form 1 (Voluntary Petition). New Exhibit D (Form | Committee Note) replaces the form used in the Northern District of Georgia entitled "Budget and Credit Counseling Eligibility Requirement for Individual Debtor Pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 109(h)." You must file new Exhibit D for any case filed on or after October 17, 2006, but please continue to use the event codes associated with the form previously used in this district. You must file new Exhibit D.
