I certify that over next two (2) years, I will satisfy the following membership requirements. I will complete the following CJA Membership CLE requirements: If I have served on the Complex/Major Crimes Panel in the immediate past 3 years or represented six (6) criminal defendants in this district during the same time period, I will attended all CJA training programs presented in this district over the next two (2) years; otherwise, I will annually complete a minimum of six (6) hours of training or a continuing legal education program on federal criminal defense, including at least three (3) hours devoted to federal sentencing. I will maintain professional liability insurance in the minimum amount of $100,000/$300,000. I will remain current on the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, the Federal Rules of Evidence, the Local Rules of this court, and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines. I agree to serve as a volunteer mentor for others on the panel. I am eligible to serve on the complex subpanel and agree to also serve on the First Response subpanel and will be available for appointment to cover initial court appearances only for another CJA panel attorney who will handle all remaining proceedings.
