INTERIM COMPENSATION PROCEDURES Sources: 11 U.S.C. § 330 11 U.S.C. § 331 Bankruptcy Rule 2002 Local Rule 2002-3 SOURCE

Applications for interim compensation along with a notice to creditors shall be filed. The notice shall advise parties that they may file objections within twenty (20) days from the date of the notice and that any interested party may obtain a copy of the application from the applicant. Notices of Application of less than $500.00 shall be served upon the following parties: a. b. c. d. e. U.S. Trustee Trustee Attorney for Debtor Any party who has filed a request that all notices be mailed to them; and Any other party the applicant deems necessary.

Notices of Application of $500.00 or more, must be served upon all creditors and interested parties. If an objection to the application is filed, then a hearing will be scheduled by the Court. A proposed order should be submitted along with the application and notice. In a Chapter 11 case, in lieu of service upon all creditors, a fee application of over $500.00 can be served upon established committees or their authorized agent and any parties who have requested notice.
