POLICY REGARDING COPIES OF MOTIONS Colorado Appellate Rule 27 (d) requires that an original and five copies of all papers relating to motions be filed in the Court of Appeals. The Court has concluded that, for many types of motions routinely filed, only the original is necessary. Effective immediately, the original and five copies must be filed for: · · · · ·

Notice of Appeal, All types of briefs, Supplemental Authorities, Petitions for Rehearing, and Any motion filed after an appeal is placed `at issue'.

Only the original needs to be filed for all other pleadings.
