If this form is a Response to a Request for Case Management Conference, it must be served and filed at least ten calendar days before the Conference. Attach a separate sheet if necessary to fully answer any question. PURPOSE: AT THE CASE MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE, THE COURT WILL REVIEW MATTERS INCLUDING THE STATUS OF THE CASE, OUTSTANDING UNRESOLVED ISSUES, OBSTACLES TO SETTLEMENT, COMPLIANCE WITH FAMILY CODE DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS, AND FORMAL DISCOVERY PLANS. THE COURT MAY: Set dates for the exchange of preliminary declarations of disclosure; Set dates for the informal exchange of documents and information; Schedule a settlement conference and trial setting conference; Make special referrals and suggest resources for conflict resolution such as alternate dispute resolution and co-parent counseling; · Limit, schedule, or expedite formal discovery; · Schedule disclosure of expert witnesses; · Review other case management options under Family Code section 2451 with counsel and self represented parties; · Bifurcate issues for trial and set the bifurcated issues for settlement conference and trial setting conference; · Take such other actions and make orders regarding case flow management as would tend to promote a just and efficient disposition of the case.
