STANDARD LINN COUNTY PARENTING PLAN
The term "parenting time" as used herein shall have the same full force and effect as the term "visitation" used in any order properly referring to "visitation" or any "visitation" provisions in foreign orders. Unless otherwise ordered by the court or agreed upon by the parties the non-custodial parent shall have the right to parenting time with the minor child(ren) of the parties according to this schedule whether or not the child(ren) are in school: Alternating Weekend Visits and Weekday Visits 1. On alternate weekends except when a specific parenting time period is set forth herein, which specific parenting time shall be in place of the alternate weekend; a. For the purposes of this schedule a weekend commences at 7:00 PM on Friday and ends at 7:00 PM on the following Sunday, except when the following Monday is a school holiday or other non-school day not listed below, then the parenting time shall commence at 7:00 PM on Friday and end 7:00 PM on Monday (the recognized holiday or non-school day.); b. This alternative weekend parenting time schedule will rotate each year as follows: In all evennumbered years the non-custodial parent's first weekend shall begin at 7:00 PM on the first Friday after New Year's Day. In odd-numbered years the non-custodial parent's first weekend shall begin at 7:00 PM on the second Friday following New Year's Day. 2. Every other Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. If the child is not in school the parenting time shall begin at 10:00 AM and end at 7:30 PM. The first alternate Wednesday parenting time shall follow the non-custodial parent's first weekend parenting time in a given new year. 3. The Wednesday and alternating weekend parenting time provisions above do not apply between the third Wednesday of June and the first Wednesday of September, inclusive, of each year. Winter and Spring Vacations 3. During the school winter vacation from 7:00 PM the day school adjourns until 10:00 AM on Christmas morning when Christmas falls in an even-numbered year, and from 10:00 AM on Christmas morning until 7:00 PM on the day before school resumes when Christmas falls in an odd-numbered year; and 4. During the period of school spring vacation from 7:00 PM the day school adjourns and until 7:00 PM the day before school resumes in odd-numbered years only.

Summer Vacation 5. For two 3-week periods during the school summer vacation. 6. Unless the parties agree otherwise in writing, the first three week summer parenting time shall begin at 10:00 AM on the last Monday of June and will end at 7:00 PM on Sunday three weeks thereafter. The second three week parenting time will begin at 10:00 AM on the second Monday of August and end at 7:00 PM on the Sunday three weeks thereafter. Holidays and Birthdays 7. Parenting time, in even-numbered years, on the following holidays or holiday periods, superceding any weekend parenting time previously scheduled: a. the birthdays of the child(ren), from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM if the birthday falls on a weekend, or from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM if the birthday falls on a weekday; b. Fourth of July: the custodial parent shall have parenting time commencing the day before the beginning of the Fourth of July holiday at 7:00 PM and ending the morning after the Fourth of July holiday at 8:00 AM. The Fourth of July holiday will contain any weekends following or preceding the Fourth of July where the Fourth falls on a Monday or Friday. 8. Parenting time, in odd-numbered years, on the following holidays or holiday periods superceding any weekend parenting time previously scheduled: a. the day before the child(ren)'s birthdays from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, if said day falls on a weekend, and if said day falls on a weekday, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM; and b. Thanksgiving holiday, commencing Wednesday at 7:00 PM and ending on the following Sunday at 7:00 PM; 9. In each year the mother shall have the child(ren) on Mother's Day and her birthday, and the father shall have the child(ren) on Father's Day and his birthday, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM which shall supersede any weekend parenting time scheduled. If the parent's birthday falls on a school day the parenting time shall be from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Miscellaneous Provisions 10. Pick up and delivery. All parenting time periods shall be exercised in a prompt manner so that both parties can make their plans accordingly. The non-custodial parent or his designee shall pick the child(ren) up from the front steps of the custodial parent's residence no earlier than 15 minutes before and not later than 15 minutes after the parenting time period commences. Return of the child(ren) to the front steps of the custodian's residence shall also be subject to this 15 minute rule. The custodial parent shall have the child(ren) fed and ready on time for parenting time with sufficient and proper clothing packed and ready for the parenting time period. Where the distance between the parents' homes exceeds 25 miles the parties will divide equally the travel expense associated with parenting time. 11. Missed parenting times and makeups. In the event the child(ren) are ill and unable to parenting

time, a makeup parenting time will be allowed to the non-custodial parent on the next succeeding weekend. However, if the non-custodial parent fails to exercise parenting time, whatever the reason, there will be no makeup parenting times. Personal plans of the custodial parent or the children, including school activities, church activities and other extra-curricular activities will not be reasons for failing to adhere to this parenting time schedule. Only substantial medical reasons will be considered sufficient for postponement of parenting times. 12. Children not allowed to decide. The child(ren) will not be permitted to determine whether they wish to have parenting time with the non-custodial parent. 13. Emergency notifications. Both parties will provide addresses and contact telephone numbers to the other party and will immediately notify the other party of any emergency circumstances or substantial changes in the health of the child(ren). 14. Correspondence and telephone contact. The non-custodial parent shall, in addition to the parenting time set forth in this order, have the right to correspond with and to telephone the minor child(ren) of the parties during reasonable hours without interference or monitoring by the custodial parent or anyone else in any way. Unless otherwise agreed to between the parties telephone conversations between the noncustodial parent and each child shall be limited to nor more than three (3) per week and shall be limited, each call, to 10 minutes or less in duration. 15. Restraint of derogatory conduct. Both parties are restrained and enjoined from making derogatory comments about the other party or in any was diminishing the love, respect and affection that the child(ren) have for the other party. 16. School parenting times. In addition to the parenting time specified above, the non-custodial parent shall have the right to parenting time with the child(ren) at school, attend the child(ren)'s school activities, and have full access to school teachers and administrators for complete information about the child(ren) in school.

NOTE: THIS PARENTING PLAN SUPERCEDES AND REPLACES ALL PRIOR PLANS AND ALL PAST LINN COUNTY VISITATION GUIDELINES.
