In the United States Court of Federal Claims
No. 08-133 C (Filed: March 7, 2008) ************************************* GLOBAL COMPUTER * ENTERPRISES, INC. * * Plaintiff, * * v. * * THE UNITED STATES, * * Defendant. * ************************************* ORDER On March 6, 2008, counsel for QSS Group, Inc. ("QSS") filed a Motion to Intervene with supporting memorandum. QSS argues that it is entitled to intervene as a matter of right pursuant to Rule 24(a) of the Rules of the United States Court of Federal Claims ("RCFC") because (1) it has a direct and substantial economic interest in the allegations raised by plaintiff, (2) disposition of plaintiff's allegations could impact QSS's contract, (3) plaintiff's request for relief "is directed at trying to hinder QSS's performance of the contract," and (4) QSS's interests are not adequately protected by defendant. Mem. P. & A. Supp. QSS Group's Mot. Intervene 3-4. Alternatively, QSS argues that it should be permitted to intervene pursuant to RCFC 24(b) because its claims and defenses have questions of law or fact in common with this action. Id. at 5. Accordingly, QSS's motion to intervene is GRANTED. The clerk is directed to add QSS Group, Inc. as an intervenor. IT IS SO ORDERED.
