APPEARANCES OF COUNSEL. Matter set for two-day jury trial, commencing July 24, 2006. Counsel advised there is also a criminal case set but they should be prepared to proceed. Discussion regarding possibility of settlement. Based on counsels' representation, they are directed to contact Magistrate Judge Watanabe and schedule settlement conference.

Page Two 03-00281-WDM-MJW July 7, 2006 Court and counsel discuss Judge Miller' Trial Procedures, including jury selection of 7, s and voir dire by counsel limited to 10 minutes. ORDERED: Counsel shall submit proposed voir dire by July 17, 2006. Discussion regarding exhibits and witnesses. Ms. Veiga advises that all defendants will be present for the entire trial. Ms. Veiga further advises that she has another trial scheduled for July 24, 2006 and if it proceeds, another attorney will try this case. Mr. McNamara advises that Mr. Wallin would be willing to vacate this trial and reschedule it with his other pending case. Ms. Veiga indicates she has no objection to continuing the trial, but advises that plaintiff' other case is in the dispositive motions stage, which could take months before s resolution. ORDERED: Mr. McNamara shall initiate a telephone conference at 1:30 p. m. on July 20, 2006. 10:10 a.m. COURT IN RECESS 57 minutes
