Petitioner, Richard Farrall, Jr., through undersigned counsel, requests the pending proceedings in this matter be stayed for the purpose of allowing newly appointed counsel to become acquainted with the relevant facts and law raised in Mr. Farrall's pro per federal habeas corpus petition. Specifically, counsel, who were only appointed on October 23, 2007, request ninety days to familiarize themselves with the record and posture of the case so that they can effectively assess whether any additional pleadings should be provided to this Court. At the conclusion of the ninety days, counsel respectfully requests that this Court hold a status conference hearing, at which time counsel will be prepared to discuss their intentions with regard to Petitioner's pending petition.
