Dear Judge Martone:
This is in response to the Court's recommendation that
Enrique Lomeli-Rodriguez serve his term of confinement at a
federal facility in the state of Arizona. Mr. Lomeli-Rodriguez
was sentenced in your court to an 18-month term for a Supervised
Release Violation.
Unfortunately, we were unable to follow the Court’s _
recommendation. Mr. Lomeli—Rodriguez has been classified as a `
low security level offender. The only low security level
facility in Arizona is located in Safford, and is currently
experiencing population pressures. Accordingly, Mr. Lomeli-
Rodriguez has been designated to the Cibola County Correctional
Center, a low security level facility in Milan, New Mexico.
Although we were unable to follow the Court’s recommendation A
in this case, please be assured of our continued commitment to
satisfy judicial recommendations whenever possible.
