1 3 By Order entered April 25, 2005 (Doc. #18), the Court required Movant to file an Amended
14 § 2255 Motion using the court—approved form. Presently pending before the Court is Movant’s
1 5 "Motion for Late Filing of Amended Motion." (Doc. #20). Movant asserts that he has been unable
16 to comply with the Order in a timely manner because he is a Mexican national who is unfamiliar
17 with criminal procedure, and the person assisting him was transferred to another facility. He
18 requests an unspecified amount of time to file his Amended Motion. The Court will grant his
1 9 motion and allow him thirty days.
2 0 IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the Motion for Late Filing (Doc. #20) is granted.
2 1 Petitioner’s Motion pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2255 must be filed on or before August 12, 2005.
