NOTIFICATION OF SUBSTITUTION OF COUNSEL AND APPLICATION FOR CONTINUANCE

With the consent of Glen Beck, the firm of Osborn Maledon and Larry Hammond are withdrawing from the representation of Mr. Beck in the abovecaptioned matter and the related probation proceedings. The Office of the Federal Public Defender, subject to its conflict and qualification procedures, has agreed to undertake the representation. We expect that Office to file a notice of appearance forthwith. In the interim, Mr. Beck requests a short continuance of the hearing now scheduled for Thursday of this week, April 17, 2008. Undersigned has conferred with both Darcy Cerow and Howard Sukenic in the Office of the United States Attorney
