This matter arises on Plaintiff's Motion to Join Party. (docket # 53) Plaintiff seeks to amend his Complaint to add claims against several members of the Phoenix Fire Department who were allegedly involved in the events giving rise to Plaintiff's claims. The deadline for filing an Amended Complaint is August 30, 2006. (docket # 27) Because the deadline is imminent, the Court will extend that deadline to September 8, 2006. In the pending motion, Plaintiff merely identifies the individuals he seeks to add as defendants but does not describe the nature of his claims against them. Moreover, Plaintiff has not submitted a proposed Amended Complaint. The Court, therefore, will deny Plaintiff's motion. LRCiv 15.1 (stating that a party seeking to amend a pleading shall attach a copy of the proposed amended pleading.) Should Plaintiff seek to amend his Complaint, on or before September 8, 2006, he shall file a Motion to file an Amended Complaint and a proposed Amended Complaint which includes all of his claims and all of the Defendants against whom he asserts those claims. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Plaintiff's Motion to Join Parties (docket # 53) is DENIED without prejudice. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the deadline for filing a proposed Amended Complaint is extended to September 8, 2006. DATED this 16th day of August, 2006.
