17 Pursuant to Local Rule of Criminal Procedure 57.12 and 57.14, and pursuant to
18 Local Rule of Civil Procedure 83.3, undersigned counsel submits this application to
19 withdraw and requests that the Court enter an order substituting as counsel for the
O Defendant, the Office of the Federal Public Defender and Mr. Craig Orent, a member

22 of that Office. This request is made with the approval of the client whose signature, V
23 residence address and telephone number appears below. Undersigned counsel avows
24 that this Application for Withdrawal arises from the discovery of a conflict between
25 lawyer and client. After careful consideration and consultation, undersigned counsel

27 has concluded that professional considerations require termination of the
28 representation. On Mr. Beck’s behalf, we renew the motion for continuance
