Yesterday, we notified Christine Kirk, as Chief Executive Officer oi`LeapSource, of our decision to
no longer fund the operations ot`LeapSource (letter attached). Joseph P. Nolan, on behalf of the
Board ot`LeapSource, has asked us to clarify issues raised in that letter.
• GTCR intends to fund LeapSource’s next payroll on March 5, 2001, in the amount of
approximately $1.3 million.
· GTCR is open to reviewing the possibility of resuming fimdin to the Company if circumstances
surrounding the operations, financial condition, or legal status ofthe Company show substantive
change from its current condition. We expect the nature of such changes to be the subject of
ongoing discussions.
• LeapSource is obviously free and encouraged to pursue alternative forms of financing.
