Free Motorcycle Bill of Sale

This Motorcycle Bill of Sale is between the buyer and seller of a motorcycle. This bill of sale sets out the price paid for the motorcycle and its make, model or series, year, color, VIN #, engine size and mileage. This document contains provisions regarding seller’s right to sell and if any liens exist on the motorcycle. This Motorcycle Bill of Sale gives the buyer the right to have the vehicle inspected by a mechanic and to cancel the transaction if the inspection is unsatisfactory.

BE IT KNOWN, that for payment in the sum of _____________________________________ Dollars ($___________), the full receipt and sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the undersigned _______________________ of _____________________________________________ (“Seller”) hereby sells and transfers to_____________________ of ________________________ _________________________ (“Buyer”), the following described Motor Cycle (“Motor Cycle”):

Seller warrants to Buyer that Seller is the legal and true owner of the Motor Cycle and that Seller has the right to sell the Motor Cycle. Furthermore, Seller warrants that Motor Cycle is free from any lien, security interest or other encumbrance, except a lien by _____________________ (“Lien Holder”) and that Seller will defend Motor Cycle against any claims or demands, except any previously mentioned lien (if any).
Seller allows the Buyer days to have the Motor Cycle inspected by an independent mechanic, and agrees to cancel the sale if the inspection is unsatisfactory to the Buyer.
If the sale is not completed, the Seller will retain $__________________ of the down payment to cover costs and effort in re-advertising.
