If you do not know the address or identity of the last person in possession of the property allegedly stolen or embezzled, you will need to notify that person by publication. The Court Clerk will arrange to have the Notice published for you. There is a publication deposit charge of $25.00. this fee is set by law (28 O.S. §156). If the publication costs are les than $25.00 you will receive a refund of the unused portion of that amount. In addition to the fee, you will be required to complete the publication form listed below. After the legal notice is published, send a copy of the notice and the Affidavit of Publication for the Court Clerk and the District Attorney. Legal Notice
