Dear Judge Jordan:
We represent the defendants in the above-captioned cases, Barr Laboratories, Inc.
("Barr") and Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ("Mylan"). We write in regard to the December 27,
2005 letter sent by counsel for the plaintiffs in these cases. Both Barr and Mylan are prepared to
proceed with a joint scheduling conference on January 10, 2006 and both are prepared to confer
with the plaintiffs in advance of that date. As such, we believe that there is no need to delay the
upcoming conference.
