Driving Directions: from north: exit I-5 at the State Hwy 99E/State Hwy 22 exit (# 253) and travel west (keep right at the fork) merge onto Mission Street SE/OR-22/OR-99E continue for 2.3 miles to overpass, keeping in your right lane exit right toward 12th Street SE (follow signs for "Willamette University and State Offices") stay in the right lane as you continue onto 12th Street SE turn right on State Street crossing over train tracks (Robertson Building will be on your left) from south: exit I-5 at the State Hwy 99E/State Hwy 22 exit (# 253) and travel west turn left on Mission Street SE/OR-22/OR-99E continue for 2.3 miles to overpass, keeping in your right lane exit right toward 12th Street SE (follow signs for "Willamette University and State Offices") stay in the right lane as you continue onto 12th Street SE turn right on State Street crossing over train tracks (Robertson Building will be on your left) Metered Parking: The parking meter rate is 75 or 80 cents per hour depending on the location. Payment is required weekdays 8:00 a.m. ­ 6:00 p.m. Vehicles exceeding the maximum allowable time may be ticketed more than once per day regardless of added money (i.e. "plugging" the meter does not extend time). A limited number of 4-hour meters are located in the Commerce Building lot to the north of the Robertson Building (enter the alley from State Street between 12th Street and 13th Street). These meters are located on both State Street and Court Street between Summer Street and Waverly Street. 2-hour meters are located on State Street between 12th and 14th and south of State on 13th. Additional metered parking is available in State of Oregon parking lots on the 1200 block of Ferry Street to the south of the Robertson Building. City of Salem One Day Parking Permits for the Capitol Mall Area: Valid west of 12th Street (see map on permit for permissible area). Not valid east of 12th Street (i.e., on State Street in front of the Tax Court). Permits are sold in the Capitol Building room 49 between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. weekdays. Private Pay Lots: Private pay lots at the corner of State and 14th Streets have daily parking subject to availability.
