ORDER OF REFERRAL FOR SETTLEMENT CONFERENCE
All counsel have advised the court that their clients have indicated their desire and willingness to proceed in good faith to attempt to settle the dispute presented by this contested matter/adversary proceeding. Each of the parties shall, within 10 days after being notified of this referral, submit a letter to the settlement judge of no more than two pages in length describing the issues in dispute and the history of settlement negotiations, if any. This letter must be served on all other parties. Unless excused by the settlement judge on motion presented in advance, counsel who will try the cases for each party are required to appear at the settlement conference together with a person possessing full, actual settlement authority. The parties and counsel are directed to participate in good faith and to put forth their best efforts toward settlement. This court will reserve ruling on any pending matters until such time that the settlement conference has been completed.
