On May 21, 2009, in accordance with the provisions of Section 25-5-68(c), Code of Alabama, 1975, as last amended, the Director of Industrial Relations determined that the State's average weekly wage for calendar year 2008 was $729.04. For injuries occurring on and after July 1, 2009, the maximum workers' compensation payable will be $729.00 per week, and the minimum compensation will be $200.00 per week. Please advise the appropriate personnel in your organization of these changes.
