I, Frank Couiom, declare as foliows:
1. I am a partner ot the law firm of Robinson gn Cole LLP, located at
280 Trurnbuil Street, Hartford, Connecticut 0610.%-3597. E have been practicing law in
Connecticut and in this District at Robinson & Cole for over 22 years- l\/ly practice
inciudes compiex commercial iitigation matters such as the above captioned matter.
Attached hereto as Exhibit A is my Martindale Hubbeli iawyer proiiie.

IndyI\/lac Bank, FSS. ("indyMac") for the award of its attorneys tees. and expenses
incurred in connection with the prosecution of indyi\/|ac’s ciairns against the Defendants
I\/lostafa Reyad and Wafa Reyad (coilectively, the "Detendants").
3. i have been invoived tor at least t5 years in periodicaliy adjusting my
firrn’s rates and in monitoring the biliing rates of other tirrns in this region and elsewhere.

attorneys who handied this matter are inthe range of $175.00 to $500.00, depending on
the panttcuiar matter and area of expertise.
4. I have reviewed the Declaration of David R. Schaefer dated November 20,
2006, setting forth the attorney’s fees and expenses charged by Brenner, Saltzman &
Waitman LLP ("BSVV") in connection with the prosecution of lndyl\/lac’s claims against
the Defendants. I aiso have reviewed the Memorandum of Decision (Doc. #466) issued
bythe Court following the bench triai of this action. Based upon my experience, the
bililng rates referenced in the Deciaration of David R. Schaefer are reasonable and
appropriate to the type and compiexity ofthe case and are comparable to or more
economicai than the houriy rates charged by attorneys of slmiiar experience in suits of
this type in this market.
