Pursuant to Rules 15 and 55 of the Federal Rules of Civil I
Procedure, plaintiff William Connelly moves for judgment by default. I
On November 17, 2003 the plaintiff brought to the prison
mailroom an Amended Complaint to be mailed via certifed mail to I
Assistant Attorneys General Henri Alexandre and Margaret Chapple,
110 Sherman Street, Hartford, CT 06105. The original was mailed I
via certified mail to the Clerk of the District Court. See Apx A. I
Certified Mail Receipt (PS Form 3800) number 7001 2510 0002
7801 0132 was attached to the envelope addressed to the Office
of the Attorney General. Certified Mail Receipt number 7001 2510
0002 7801 0149 was attached to the envelope addressed to the Clerk
of the District Court. See Apx B. I
The defendants have failed to respond. I
For the foregoing reasons, the Court should grant this motion
for judgment by default.
