GOVERNMENT’S MOTION PURUSANT TO U.S.S.G. § 3E1.1{b) ·
The United States of America respectfully requests that the Court accord defendant
an additional 1-level adustment for acce tance of responsibility pursuant to U.S.S.G. . §
J P
3el.l(B). In support of this motion the United States states:
l. Defendant EVELYN BAEZ was charged by indictment with a violation of 2l U.S.C.
§§ 846 and 841(a)(l) and (b)(l)(B) on July 31, 2003.
2. Defendant notified the United States of his intention to plead guilty on September 24,
2004.
3. Pursuant to the plea agreement in this matter, the United States has recommended that
defendant received a downward acfustment for acceptance of responsibility pursuant to §

3E1.1(a) because defendant has demonstrated an acceptance of responsibility for her offense: E
