We are requesting the following information to document that you meet or exceed the Federal requirements stated in "Archaeology and Historic Preservation: Secretary of the Interior's Standards and Guidelines," Federal Register, Vol. 48, No. 190-September 29, 1983, Pt. IV. The minimum professional qualifications for architectural history are a graduate degree in architectural history, art history, historic preservation, or a closely related field, with coursework in American architectural history; or a bachelor's degree in architectural history, art history, historic preservation, or a closely related field, plus one of the following: 1. At least two years of full-time professional experience in research, writing, or teaching in American architectural history or restoration architecture with an academic institution, historical organization or agency, museum or other professional institution; or 2. Substantial contribution through research and publications to the body of scholarly knowledge in the field of architectural history.

Submission: 1. Submit your documentation to the Indiana Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology, 402 W. Washington Street, Room W274, Indianapolis, Indiana 462042739. The Indiana Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology will review your documentation to determine if your qualifications meet the standards established by the National Park Service. If we determine your qualifications meet the standards, you will be added to the roster. If we find that you do not meet the standards, you will receive an explanation of why your qualifications do not meet the standards.
