The copy may be either of an original instrum ent, reco rds m aintained in a courth ouse, o r the pag e(s) from an abs tract of title cov ering the re al estate. The copies must demonstrate an unbroken familiar chain-of-title from the date that a member of your family originally acquired an interest in the real estate to the present. 2) A copy of the most recent property tax receipts. 3) The following information beginning with the original family owner and continuing to the present owner(s).

NOTICE: For those applicants that already received a Hoosier Homestead award and would like to have either the Sesquicentennial or Bicentennial award, you need only to supply ownership information as requested on the front of the application from the date you were awarded the Hoosier Homestead certificate to the present. GENERAL INFORMATION: Information requested on this page, while not essential to Hoosier Homestead certification, will be most valuable to future historians. The questions below are offered only as a guide. Please feel free to add any other data on additional sheets, especially family or pioneer stories concerning the farm and surrounding area.
