What is the Alaska State Court Law Library?
There are 17 law libraries located in state courthouses across Alaska. Just like local public libraries, we are open to everyone. While not all libraries have staff on site, we provide reference service by email and phone.

What can you find at the law library?
50 State laws and cases accessible by books or computer Federal laws and cases accessible by books or computer Electronic databases for legal research at no charge Books and CD-ROMs on a wide variety of legal topics Law reviews Web site with links to legal research sites Photocopying and interlibrary loan services Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau and Ketchikan have the largest collections of print materials. All libraries have computers with access to Westlaw, and other internet based legal resources.
