Defendants Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company, AngloGold Ashanti (Colorado) Corp., and AngloGold Ashanti North America Inc. (collectively, the "AngloGold Defendants") hereby move the Court -- without opposition -- for an Order enlarging the page limitation for their Motion for Attorneys Fees. Pursuant to MSK Civ. Practice Standard V.A., motions shall not exceed 15 pages in length. The AngloGold Defendants' Motion for Attorneys Fees is 24 pages in length. That Motion exceeds the page limitation because to understand the bases for awarding fees, it is necessary to understand the history of a number of developments during the 5½-year procedural history of this case. Therefore, the AngloGold Defendants

respectfully request that the Court enter the attached proposed Order enlarging its page limitation to allow the filing of that motion. Pursuant to D.C.COLO.LCivR 7.1(A), the undersigned conferred with opposing counsel and counsel for Co-Defendant Golden Cycle Gold Corp. regarding this motion. Neither opposes this motion. Plaintiffs' counsel's lack of opposition is conditioned on his understanding that he will be permitted to file a single, 30-page consolidated response to the two different defense motions for fees (which appears to be permitted by MSK Civ.
