ORDER ENTERED BY MAGISTRATE JUDGE CRAIG B. SHAFFER This will confirm that a settlement conference has been set for December 22, 2005, at 9:30 a.m. (Mountain Time) in Courtroom A-402, Fourth Floor, of the Alfred A. Arraj U.S. Courthouse, 901 19th Street, Denver, Colorado. Plaintiff or his case manager should make arrangements for his

participation via telephone and shall call (303) 844-2117 at the scheduled time. Plaintiff should notify the proper prison authorities that his participation in the settlement conference may take as long as two hours. It is further
ORDERED that parties are to submit their respective confidential settlement statements on or before December 15, 2005. Each statement should contain the following: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Pro Se Plaintiff shall mail a single copy of his confidential settlement statement, in a sealed envelope marked " PRIVATE,"directly to Magistrate Judge Shaffer at 901 19th Street, Denver, Colorado 80202. Parties participating in ECF shall e-mail ONLY the Confidential Settlement Statement in PDF format to [email protected]. ALL additional settlement materials (i.e. deposition transcripts, exhibits) are to be submitted to the court as hard copies. Counsel are directed to indicate in their email if they are submitting additional information for the court to read. Any additional material shall be delivered to the office of the Clerk of the Court in an envelope marked " PRIVATE PER MAGISTRATE JUDGE SHAFFER' ORDERS" S . No person is ever required to settle a case on any particular terms or amounts.
