STATUS REPORT ________________________________________________________________________ COMES NOW the Plaintiff, Oloyea Wallin, by and through his attorney, John A. McNamara, P.C., to provide the following information: Counsel has telephoned Plaintiff to discuss settlement of the present case; who will be lead counsel at trial; and whether Mr. Wallin wants to appear by video camera or in person for his trial. Mr. Wallin has directed counsel to make a specific settlement offer to opposing counsel. It is counsel's understanding that Mr. Wallin would like counsel to be the lead attorney at trial. After weighing the pros and cons of appearing for trial, Mr. Wallin has indicated that he would like to be present for trial. Counsel still would respectfully request a copy of the transcript of Mr. Wallin's deposition and anticipates filing a motion to allow easier access to Mr. Wallin by telephone.
