l This Notice is posted pursuant to a Settlement Agreement entered by thc federal court for
I thi-: District of Delaware in EEOC v. P. TZ Morgan Paper Company, an affiliate MP. TT Morgan
Packaging Company, Civil Action Number 04-1304, resolving a lawsuit tiled. by the Equal

Title VII ofthe Civil Rights Act of l964, 42 U.S.Ct § 2000s er seq., as amended ("Title
I VII"), prohibits discrimination against employees and applicants for employment based upon sex,
national origin, race, color or religion. Title Vll further prohibits retaliation against employees or
applicants who avail themselves of the rights under '1`itle VII by cngagin g in protected activities,
‘ such as Eling s charge of discrimination and/or testitying or participating in a Commission
investigation. The EEOC is the federal agency which investigates charges of unlawful
` employment discrimination. The EEOC has the authority to bring lawsuits in federal court to
enlbrce Title VII. ‘
l- In its lawsuit, the EEOC alleged that P.T. Morgan subjected. a class of employees to racial
2 harassment in violation of Title VII. P.'l`. Morgan denied. these allegations. I
l To resolve the case, P.T. Morgan and thc EEOC have entered into a Settlement
_ Agreement which provided, among other things, that: (1) P.T. Morgan pay monetary relief; (2)
Pll`. Morgan shall implement a policy against discrimination, harassment, and discrimination;
and (3) l‘.T. Morgan will train all managers and supervisors regarding Title Vl]’s prohibitions
t against discrimination, harassment and retaliation.
