On April 4, 2007, this action (06-4842) was referred to Magistrate Judge Wayne Brazil to 11 conduct a settlement conference, which has since been scheduled for January 17, 2008. Plaintiff Vance 12 S. Elliot has subsequently initiated two additional actions against the defendant. On October 3, 2007, 13 the Court related those two cases to the original. Accordingly, the Court will refer the two newly related 14 cases, Vance S. Elliot v. The San Francisco Rent Stabilization and Arbitration Board, 07-4446, and 15 Vance S. Elliot v.
