address the issues raised by the Court." Doc. #142. Plaintiffs did not oppose the motion. Doc. #144 (Nov. 27, 2007). On December 14, 2007, this Court granted Defendants' Motion to Stay Proceedings Pending New Rulemaking and scheduled a status conference for March 28, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. Doc. #149. On March 21, 2008, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security released a Supplemental Proposed Rulemaking for the No-Match Rule. The period for public comment

supplemental rulemaking. Counsel for Defendants contacted counsel for Plaintiffs, who do not oppose this request to vacate the status conference scheduled for August 1, 2008 and to reschedule it for a later date. Accordingly, Defendants respectfully request that the Court vacate the status conference scheduled for August 1, 2008 and reschedule it for September 12, 2008, or some time thereafter.
