2. I am one ofthe named Plaintiffs in this lawsuit. I am

familiar with the issues raised in the complaint and with the decision of the Court
2 7
on P1aintiffs’ motion for summary judgment and Defendants’ motion to dismiss.

1 3. I worked for the Garrett Corporation, Signal Companies, Inc.
2 and AlliedSignal, Inc. from in or around 1961 to in or around 1991. In my last
3 position, I was a general supervisor in Fab. Control at the 101 Building in the Sky
4 Harbor Phoenix facility.
5 4. I am the treasurer of the Garrett Retirees Action Committee.
6 This Committee is made up of former participants of the Retirement Plan for
7 Employees of the Garrett Corporation and Its Participating Subsidiaries and the
8 Severance Plan for employees of the Garrett Corporation and Its Participating
9 Subsidiaries who became vested participants in the Signal Companies Inc. Retirement
10 Plan and the Garrett Secured Benefit Account, their surviving spouses and/or
ll beneficiaries who are or may become eligible for benefits under the Plans.
12 5. The Garrett Retirees Action Committee is endeavoring to
13 support the maintenance of this lawsuit by establishing a communications network
1 4 with our membership, which totals more than 900 individuals, and serving as a liaison
15 with the attorneys in this case. The Committee has held meetings in the Phoenix and
16 Payson areas. We have also raised money to help finance some of the costs of this
1 7 lawsuit. Our members reside in Arizona, California and other states. I am aware that
18 Garrett Corporation had facilities in several geographic areas, including Arizona,
1 9 California and New Jersey.
2 0 6. I am amember ofthe Class andl am also amember of subclass
2 1 A because the calculation of my minimum benefits under the Signal Retirement Plan
2 2 without an SBA Offset would have resulted in a higher benefit than the benetitl am
2 3 receiving. I am also a member of Subclass D because 1 had administrative expenses
2 4 deducted hom my Secured Benefit Plan beneits.
25 7. I am firmly committed to seeing this matter come to a
2 6 conclusion through the Court proceednigs and doing whateverl can to help pursue the
2 '7 claims that are asserted in this lawsuit.
