The Defendant, Margaret Molter, through counsel Michael B. Bernays, has received notice from the court setting a Status Hearing for May 21, 2007 at 1:30 p.m., Docket Number 171. Counsel has conflicts on May 21, 2007, that are not capable of being rescheduled. Counsel has a contract to provide indigent defense services to Gila County and pursuant to that contract, has 4 hearings scheduled for Globe, Arizona and 9 hearings scheduled for Payson, Arizona. Counsel is a sole practitioner and does not have anyone who can cover the Gila County matters nor the instant matter. Counsel would therefor respectfully request that the Court rescheduled this hearing for a date other than Monday, May 21, 2007. RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED this 15th day of May, 2007.
