This matter is set for trial on January 10, 2006, with a pretrial conference scheduled for December 12, 2005. The parties have been actively pursuing settlement and believe that a settlement conference before a Magistrate Judge may enable them to settle the case. Consequently, the parties jointly request that this Court assign a Magistrate Judge to conduct a settlem ent conference at its earliest convenience. Based on the pending pretrial and trial dates, the parties also request that the Court continue those dates to be set at the Court's earliest convenience after February 1, 2006.
