22 Jill J. Chasson, being first duly sworn upon oath, deposes and says:
23 1. I am a member of the law firm of Perkins Coie Brown & Bain P.A.,
24 attorneys for Best Westem Intemational, Inc., plaintiff in the above—captioned case.
25 2. This affidavit is made with respect to a judgment entered in favor of
26 plaintiff against defendants Star Management, Inc., a North Carolina corporation,
27 formerly doing business as the Best Western Midway Inn, and Bipin C. Patel, an
28 individual, jointly and severally, in the above-entitled action.

1 3. The judgment was entered on September 13, 2002, Docket No. 13, in the
2 United States District Court for the District of Arizona by the Honorable Susan R.
3 Bolton. The judgment granted to plaintiff the following sums:
4 a. Unpaid principal and interest: $20,431.26 as of July 1, 2002, plus
5 continuing interest on said amount at thc rate of 1.5% per month
6 from July 20, 2002 through date o1` default judgment.
7 b. Liquidatcd damages: $268,107.84 through September 16, 2001.
8 c. Attorneys’ fees: $7,222.00 through July 31, 2002, plus additional
9 unbilled attorneys’ 1`ees through date of defaultjudgment.
10 d. Taxable and non-taxable costs: $1,505.33 through July 31, 2002,
1 1 plus additional unbilled costs through date of defaultjudgment.
12 e. Post-judgment interest on all amounts at the legal rate of 1.70% as
13 provided for in 28 U.S.C. § 1961(a) until paid.
14 4. There is no execution currently outstanding and unreturned upon this
15 judgment.
16 5. There have been no payments upon thejudgment.
17 6. There are no set-offs or counterclaims in favor of the defendants against the
18 plaintiff.
19 7. The exact amount due on the judgment is for all sums set forth in paragraph
20 3 herein.
