On‘June 19, 2008. a photo ofthe defendant was obtained from Pennsylvania State Police. The photo
of the defendant was shown to the complainant. Th complainant positively identified the defendant
as the person who threatened her.
' Based on the aforementioned facts and circumstances, the aftiant has probable cause to believe the
defendant did threaten the complainant. I

On June 19, 2008, the complainant reported to the M ltropolitan Police Department that on June 18, Fi
2008. the defendant called the complainant on her coil] phone. The defendant was irate and told the d
complainant, "l‘m going to kill you" because you dose ie it". Tha defendant called the complainant
three more times that night and told the complainant lil; was going to kill her. The defendant also
stated if the complainant goes to the police, he would come after the complainant and her family.
Further investigation revealed the defendant is the conlplainants boyfriend. Theyltavs been dating
each other since February of 2007. Since December f200¢ the defendant has physically assaulted
the complainant on several different occasions and thr atened he was going to bum her with a hot
iron.
The complainant provided the police with the defends t's name, home address, date of birth and
physical description. ‘ _
