Free filing fee - Massachusetts

Probate and Family Court Department Uniform Fee Schedule Revised July 1, 2009
Any party entering a complaint, petition or other civil action in which an initial filing fee is payable and to which a separate docket number or suffix is assigned shall pay to the register of the court a surcharge ($15.00) in addition to the fee otherwise required by law. See G. L. c. 262, § 4C. Please note that in any action for which there is no fee charged, all associated fees and costs are not charged for that action. Red Ink = Statutory Fee G.
