NOTICE APRIL 16, 2008 UNITED STATES BANKRUPTCY COURT SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF OHIO EASTERN DIVISION-COLUMBUS The revised Chapter 13 Mandatory Form Plan for the Columbus Location is now available. The PDF "fillable" form and detailed instructions can be accessed through the Columbus, Ohio page of the Court's website: www.ohsb.uscourts.gov. It will also be made available to software vendors. Effective immediately this version must be used for all cases in the Columbus Location. In addition, any vendors that offer the revised plan may not alter its appearance, features or terms. Finally, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals has recently issued an opinion regarding 910-day auto claims. Americredit Financial Services, Inc. v. Long (In re Long), 2008 WL 564798 (6th Cir. 2008). The Columbus Location Judges have concluded that they are bound in all future cases by this decision. Notwithstanding provisions in the form plan to the contrary, parties must prepare plans in compliance with In re Long until there is any contrary ruling by the United States Supreme Court or further ruling from the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
