It is possible to have three different career specialties identified in the position announcement; e.g., VOR (Navaids), RCAG (Communications), and RMLR (Radar). Credit for experience may be awarded in one of two categories ELECTRONICS CERTIFICATION which is a measure of experience for AFS PERSONNEL or SUBSTITUTE FOR CERTIFICATION which covers INSTALLATION TECHNICIANS, ENGINEERS, ACADEMY INSTRUCTORS, ETC. a. Base Points (1) Electronics Certification Base points shall be awarded for prior or current certification of . any facility/system in thesame career field as those systems identified in the announcement; i.e., Radar, Communication, Visual Navaids, Automation, and Navaids.
