THE UNITED STATES, Defendant. _________ ORDER __________ On August 20, 2007, the parties filed a joint status report indicating they each have taken under consideration settlement proposals for case Nos. 04-1396C and 05-930C. On August 29, 2007, plaintiff filed a status report stating that on August 27, 2007, it filed a Contract Disputes Act certified claim in the sum certain amount of $1,887,822.04 with the contracting officer Ms. Veronica Hiriams in Anchorage, Alaska with respect to claims asserted in case No. 98-168C. Accordingly, the court hereby orders as follows: 1. Once the contracting officer denies the certified claim submitted by plaintiff on August 27, 2007, plaintiff shall file a status report apprising the court of how it intends to proceed. The parties shall continue to file joint status reports under case No. 98168C every 28 days pursuant to the court's order on June 27, 2007, issued in case Nos. 04-1396C and 05-930C.
