Qualifications for Office
Are you holding an office which may conflict, or be incompatible, with the office for which you are filing? Or, is your employment incompatible with the office you are seeking?

ALL COUNTY OFFICES, INCLUDING DISTRICT ATTORNEY No person except a qualified elector shall be elected or appointed to any civil or military office in the state. (Wyo. Constitution, Art. 6, Sec. 15)

COUNTY ASSESSOR In addition to being a qualified elector, the county assessor shall own real property in the county in which he is elected. (W.S. 18-3-201)

COUNTY ATTORNEY In addition to being a qualified elector, the county attorney shall be a member of the bar of Wyoming. (W.S. 18-3-301)

DISTRICT ATTORNEY In addition to being a qualified elector, the district attorney shall be a licensed attorney for at least four (4) years and a member in good standing of the Wyoming state bar immediately prior to his election. (W.S. 9-1-802)
