-EXHIBIT A DECLARATION OF PATRICK M. MURPHY I, Patrick M. Murphy, make the following declaration: 1. I have personal knowledge of the matters set forth herein, except for those matters stated on information and belief, and as to those matters I believe them to be true and could and would testify thereto under oath if called upon as a witness. 2. I am a Partner in the law firm of Guttilla Murphy Anderson, PC; was admitted to practice law in the State of Arizona in 1972; and have continuously practiced law in Arizona since that date. 3. The firm of Guttilla Murphy Anderson, PC represents Lawrence J. Warfield, the court-appointed Receiver of International Funding Association, et al., in Civil Action No. CV 03-1825 PHX PGR; SEC v. Ronald Stephen Holt, et al.; United States District Court, District of Arizona. 4. I submit this declaration in support of Receiver's Response to Motion for New Trial and/or to Alter or Amend Judgment Regarding Petition No. 24 and to Motion to Stay Regarding Petition No. 24. 5. True and correct copies of selected pages of the transcript of Barry T. Jordan's examination under oath attached hereto as Exhibit A-1. 6. A true and correct copy of the East Maricopa Holding Trust Agreement, produced in this Lawsuit, is attached hereto as Exhibit A-2.
