LOGGING EMERGENCY MEDICAL PLAN
In the event of a serious accident or other emergency, it is essential that workers have an action plan. The plan must include information that is specific to each logging site such as: 1. Work location. 2. Available helicopter landing pad. 3. Directions by road system. If this plan is developed and communicated to the crew, confusion can be avoided and time saved.
