COMES NOW, Defendant, Marvin Williams, by and through undersigned counsel, and respectfully requests that this Honorable Court enter an Order continuing the sentencing currently scheduled for September 19, 2005, not September 12, 2005, for a period of sixty days for the reasons set forth more fully below. 1. Defendant is currently employed and just received a raise which is providing substantial financial assistance to his family of 4 children and 3 grandchildren. 2. Since Mr. William's release from custody he has been a productive member of the community. 3. The Defendant has been drug free and continues to comply with his drug testing three times a week and faithfully reports to his probation officers. Assistant United States Attorney, Tim Duax has been contacted and has no objection to this motion.
