Plaintiff, United States of America, by and through its attorneys, DIANE J. HUMETEWA, United States Attorney for the District of Arizona, and Lisa Jennis Settel, Assistant United States Attorney, respectfully moves this court for an Order continuing the competency hearing date currently set for May 8, 2008. One of the government's witnesses, Michael Westcott, who is also the case agent, will be attending supervisory training outside of Arizona from May 3, 2008 through May 26, 2008 and will not be available to testify. Additionally, the United States is still awaiting information regarding defendant's medication, an issue that needs to be resolved prior to this hearing.
